Families are changing, and we're changing families.

Texas Agricultural Extension Service programs in Family and Consumer Sciences strengthen individuals and families by teaching communication skills, methods for coping with life changes, ways to reduce and manage stress, and practical parenting skills and by developing creativity and leadership.

Our programs improve health by providing information from many research sources to help people live safe and healthy lives, prevent disease, and manage chronic illness.

Our programs increase economic stability by teaching people how to extend their incomes, save money, spend wisely, and manage their resources effectively.
